Dr. Alexander Barron is an immunologist and stromal cell biologist with 20 years of experience. He currently leads a team at Novartis focused on discovering novel targets and developing therapies for primary and secondary fibrotic diseases. Passionate about mentorship, Dr. Barron also dedicates time to guiding the next generation of scientists. He has coauthored 19 publications spanning autoimmunity, viral immunology, stromal biology, and animal models. His expertise encompasses advanced wet lab techniques such as scRNAseq and flow cytometry, as well as data analysis using R and FlowJo.
